Let’s get distracted!

Dave Seah’s got the same problems I do:

…since I work alone, it’s my job to keep myself motivated and away from the dozens of daily distractions that suck productivity out of the day:

  • You should backup and defrag the server, Dave, it’s making funny noises…
  • The time to investigate AJAX is now, Dave, before your skills completely rust into obsolesence…
  • It’s time to recatalog your MP3 collection, Dave, for maximum listening efficiency…

But he’s got a super-neat chart to keep him on track:
Chart Thumbnail: When is something worth doing?

I just wonder how long it took him to make that… and how long it would take to make a Rails-based, Web 2.0 implementation…

One Response to “Let’s get distracted!”

  1. Dave Seah Says:

It took about 2 years of floundering, then 2 hours of farting around in Illustrator CS2 as a “hm, this isn’t Freehand, but it ain’t so bad I guess” exercise to make the chart.

    Ok, your turn :-)
