Bad Design Kills: Sweet mother of God, Flash-only?

What the hell? Bad Design Kills is a pompous site in which graphic designers, angling for some work, talk about how important design is.

Well there is a little thing on the front page that says “static mode” though it isn’t clickable. But hey, you answered your own question, they’re graphic designers not web developers!

If usability doesn’t factor into design, then it’s not design–it’s performance art.

Hmmm… so what you’re saying is, if it doesn’t work, then it should just hang on a wall and look pretty but not masquerade as a functional site?

  4. Coda Says:

Pretty much. The folks who made a flash-only site don’t get to lecture the world on how much design (like theirs, presumably) saves lives, etc.
