About Coda

I was born in the foothills. I live in the Bay. I spend entirely too much time with computers. I like elegance, but I like functionality more. I went to college, but in something totally unrelated to what most people want to talk to me about. I wish I spent more time on my bicycle. I wish I had a dog, but for now I’m fine with just playing with my friends’ dogs. I wish I had a cat, but for now I’m ok with occasionally being loathed by my mom’s cranky-ass cat whenever I visit. I get frustrated when people make lazy errors: making users format credit card and phone numbers, not remembering what I just typed in, making policy to save face rather than solve problems. I’m probably not fit for the corporate world. I occasionally come out of the shower wearing my towel like a cape. I’d rather be hanging out with friends at a sidewalk cafe after a bike ride, forgetting to stretch. I don’t shave as much as other people might like.

I like Ruby, but I try not to be emotionally involved with it. It’s a nice tool, but it’s not the only one.
